The Children’s Recovery Foundation (TCRF) is a community based charitable organisation based in Calaba Town, Sierra Leone and registered with the Freetown City Council. We are partnered and supported by NuHi Training Ltd. based in Wales, UK. TCRF was set up as an orphanage in 2014 in response to the Ebola crisis which sadly left so many children traumatised, destitute and living on the streets.

We started with 30 children and we now have 200 children, 170 of whom live with foster families. Alongside the orphanage, we have set up the Seren Preparatory school to ensure that every child in our care receives an education.

TCRF does not receive any government funding and the staff and teachers do not receive a regular wage and when they do, it is minimal. Please consider supporting TCRF either as a one off or with regular monthly donations. All donations are received via NuHi Training, through the Cooperative bank in the UK, transferred to TCRF and evidence provided on social media of how the money is spent to benefit the children. We work hard to ensure transparency in all that we do and our work would not be possible without the kindness and generosity of our supporters worldwide. Please consider supporting us so that we can continue to rescue and care for many more children. Thank you.
